Spinal manipulation is a technique where physical therapists apply a controlled thrust to a joint of the spine. The amount of force varies depending on the type of manipulation being used. Our therapists utilize a safe and effective low amplitude, high velocity approach.
Spinal manipulation can reduce pain and improve joint mobility. It can be used as a treatment for headaches and other spine-related conditions, such as neck or low back pain. When your neck and back joints start moving better imbalances are corrected and pain is modulated.
"I have made huge progress since going to physical therapy. I was using a cane and unable to even sit on the floor or get up easily. I am no longer using the cane and my range of motion and strength has greatly improved. Everyone at Physical Therapy of the Rockies is highly professional and great to work with. They pushed me when I needed to be pushed. I highly recommend using Physical Therapy of the Rockies if physical therapy is needed I will use them again if the need ever arises.”
